Courses

Courses of the Preparation Programme prepare you for the supplementary examination that tests the language skills needed to successfully complete your studies at a Viennese university. These skills cannot be described by the CEFR. You can find details to course levels in the Preparation Programme here.

The courses take place from Mondays to Fridays. You will receive a detailed schedule at the beginning of the semester. You must attend at least 70% of course lessons each semester.

Blended learning means a mix between in-classroom and online lessons. Mondays are online at our institute, from Tuesday to Friday lessons are in-classroom. Our lessons are also supported by online material on our learning platform, Moodle.

In any bookshop or on the internet. Bookshops in Austria can also order the books for you if they do not have them in stock.

Progress tests can also be called bonus tests. If you pass these tests during the semester, you will only have to pass a speaking test at the end of the semester and will be excused from the written part of the test. Bonus tests account for part of the EPD exam only at the VWU center; this exception does not apply to the cooperation partners.

You can find your course confirmation on our Moodle platform after the course has ended.
